Do you know which stage your hair is at?
Don’t worry, neither do I. That is why it is important for you to understand that all hairs on your body are at different stages. Once the papillae and hair follicle are destroyed, hair growth is also destroyed
Before Your Appointment:
Ensure that the hair is at least 1/4 inch long. If hair is noticeable and too long in between scheduled appointments, do not shave, tweeze or wax the hair. Just clip them with scissors. Arrive 15 min prior to your scheduled appointment. This will ensure that the length of your appointment can be guaranteed. Try to avoid wearing makeup in the area that is to be treated.
After Your Appointment:
After the treatment, clients may experience redness, swelling and/ or slight brusing. Applying cold compress should soothe the skin in a couple of hours. Avoid wearing makeup or heavy creams for at least 24 hours. Applying antiseptic cream or Tea Tree Oil should help soothe the skin and prevent any infections from developing. Should small honey colored scabs appear after a day or two, it is important not to pick them off as this will cause scarring. Avoid swimming, saunas, hot tubs, hot showers and sun tanning for at least 24 hours. Treated area’s should be kept out of direct contact with sun for at least 24 hours as well.
